Court Services Victoria is delivering a new state-of-the-art court facility for Melbourne's rapidly growing west.
The Wyndham Law Courts will be the largest court complex outside of the central business district, bringing together multiple jurisdictions, specialist courts, and services to the rapidly growing Wyndham area. The purpose-built courts will feature 13 courtrooms, four hearing rooms, as well as three mediation suites and 26 holding cells to service the Magistrates' Court of Victoria, the Children's Court of Victoria and the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT).
VCAT president Justice Ted Woodward and acting CEO Fiona Chamberlain recently visited the site of the Wyndham Law Courts build, with three levels of the 13-court facility now constructed.
Wyndham’s new court will open in March 2025.
