The National Domestic and Family Violence Bench Book, published by the Australian Institute of Judicial Administration, has been updated for 2023.
The 2023 update includes 127 new resources including:
- Summaries of 39 new Australian and 27 new international academic articles.
- 30 new Australian and 2 new international resources, including fact sheets and webpages.
- 58 new summaries of cases from across Australia.
The update also includes two new sections: one on death reviews and one on parental alienation.
In addition to the new resources, the update also includes many updates to context statements and updated links across many sections.
The National Domestic and Family Violence Bench Book is a valuable resource for judicial officers who are considering legal issues relevant to domestic and family violence related cases.
