Important amendments to the Bail Act 1977 have come into effect. To assist judicial officers in navigating these changes, we are pleased to announce the release of three resources developed by the Judicial College of Victoria and the Department of Justice and Community Safety.

Judicial ethics and applicable standards of conduct reflect core values of impartiality, independence and integrity. Conduct that is consistent with those values maintains public confidence in the courts and VCAT and fosters community respect. To support this, the College has introduced a Conduct and ethics resource collection.
