The Minds Count Foundation (formerly the Tristan Jepson Memorial Foundation) held its annual lecture in August 2023, at the Federal Court of Australia in Sydney. The keynote, titled "Burning bright without burning out," was delivered by the Hon. Justice Jayne Jagot, High Court of Australia.

Justice Jagot discussed the challenges of burnout in the legal profession.

Following the keynote, there was a Q&A panel discussion facilitated by Danielle Kelly, Director of Culture and Inclusion at Herbert Smith Freehills. The panel included Justice Jagot, Peter Dunning KC, President of the Australian Bar Association, and Fiona McLeay, Victorian Legal Services Board CEO and Commissioner.
