In the judicial career cycle, there are several critical points of transition: appointment, the middle years, and retirement. Of these, retirement has typically received the least attention.
A panel of retired Supreme and County Court judges will discuss their varied approaches to the opportunities and challenges transitioning from the Bench brings. You will hear from the panel about their experiences and have the opportunity to bring your questions and ideas to a facilitated group discussion with your colleagues.
The panellists for this event are:
- The Hon. Justice Pamela Tate served on the Victorian Court of Appeal from 2010 – 2021
- The Hon. Justice David Habersberger served on the Supreme Court of Victoria from 2001 – 2013
- Her Honour Judge Wendy Wilmoth served on the County Court of Victoria from 2003 – 2020
- His Honour Judge Paul Grant served on the County Court of Victoria from 2006 – 2019
This webinar is open to Supreme Court and County Court judges only.
