For judges and magistrates who hear civil and criminal matters, this program aims to help you understand how trauma manifests in the court environment.

A range of experts will share their insight and expertise on the timely topic of trauma including:

  • Associate Professor David Wells OAM, head of Clinical Forensic Medicine at the Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine
  • Professor Kim Felmingham, Chair of Clinical Psychology at the School of Psychological Sciences, University of Melbourne. 

The program will be facilitated by Sally Ryan, psychologist and Judicial Wellbeing Adviser at the Judicial College of Victoria.
