Welcome to the Judicial College of Victoria’s new website

Welcome to the Judicial College of Victoria’s new website.

The website has been developed to make it easier for you to access and navigate information about our work.

It includes a section for browsing upcoming programs and events. With the ability to filter by jurisdiction and subject area, you are able to quickly and easily find those that interest you the most. Judicial officers can also register as programs and events are released.

The website also gives you easy access to our resources, which have been categorised by area of law to assist and speed up your search.

Frequently asked questions

How do I access your resources?

College bench books, manuals and other resources are now collected under a top-level ‘Resources’ page.

There is also a quick links section on the homepage that provides access to our most frequently used resources, including the Victorian Sentencing Manual, the Criminal Charge Book and the Uniform Evidence Manual.

How do I access JOIN via the new website?

JOIN is a judicial intranet for Victorian judicial officers. The 'JOIN login' is located in the top right-hand corner. Should you have any difficulties logging in, please email Damian Siracusa, Project Manager, Communications.

I’ve created bookmarks/shortcuts to the bench books and manuals on the old website. Will these need to be updated?

No, your bookmarks should continue to work. Most existing links to content on the old website have been redirected to the content on the new website.

Does the website include information about the College’s programs and events?

Yes, the site features more information about upcoming programs and events. Please note that new programs and events will be added as they are released.

For VCAT Members, attendance at any full or multi-day program requires approval from VCAT first. Please email member-pd@vcat.vic.gov.au to register your interest for these programs.

I am an interstate or overseas judicial officer, can I attend a program?

We welcome interstate and overseas judicial officers to many of our programs. Please email Annabel Mornement, Director, Education with your enquiry. Please note there is an attendance fee for all non-Victorian judicial officers.

Who should I contact for assistance?

If you are having difficulties accessing content or you would like to arrange a demonstration, please email Damian Siracusa, Project Manager, Communications.
