Passing Of Former Chief Judge Waldron

The Judicial College of Victoria offers our condolences to the family of former Chief Judge Glenn Waldron QC, one of our inaugural Board members, following his passing.

With a legal career spanning 48 years and serving as Chief Judge of the County Court for almost 21 years, Mr Waldron made a significant contribution to Victoria’s justice system.

He was appointed Chief Judge of the Country Court in 1982 and is credited with making reforms that transformed the role and reputation of the County Court in Victoria.

Mr Waldron’s immense contributions have left a lasting legacy and delivered immeasurable benefits to the lives of all Victorians.
