After a 3-year hiatus, we are pleased to resume our highly regarded Back to Country event.
The 2023 event offers judicial officers an immersive experience on Barkindji, Latji Latji, Mutthi Mutthi, Ngintait and Ngiyampaa Country near Mildura.
You will leave with a renewed appreciation for Aboriginal community, history, culture – and connection with Country. Activities include:
- An overnight visit to the sacred UNESCO World Heritage Site of Lake Mungo.
- Visit important contemporary places of healing and embrace culture.
- Conversations with local Community about the challenges they face – and how they are meeting those challenges head-on.
