Community Correction Reforms

The Sentencing Amendment (Community Correction Reform) Act 2011 and the Sentencing Amendment (Abolition of Home Detention) Act 2011 commenced on 16 January 2012.

This legislation significantly reforms Victoria's community corrections scheme. To assist courts and court users with these reforms, the Judicial College of Victoria has prepared the following material explaining the new provisions.
