Charge Books Updated

The College has updated its criminal and civil charge books to incorporate significant new developments in both the criminal and civil jurisdictions.

Tendency evidence

The Criminal Charge Book sections regarding tendency evidence have been updated after the recent judgment in R v Bauer [2018] HCA 40, where the High Court unanimously clarified when tendency evidence in a single complainant sexual assault case is admissible.

Bullying, harassment and stress claims

The Civil Juries Charge Book has been updated to include a new charge on employer bullying.
